William Simoni

William C. “Bill” Simoni, 81, of Griffin, GA (formerly of Winamac, IN) passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Pruitt Health Monroe in Forsyth, GA.  He was born on July 14, 1941 in North Judson, IN to the late Geno and Bernice [Suckow] Simoni.  Billl married Mary J. Rater on October 23, 1965 in Denham, IN.  He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Denham and a retired steelworker.  Bill was a joyful man, with a good sense of humor.  He was always trying to make someone laugh or smile.  Bill will be dearly missed. 

He is survived by his wife,  Mary J. [Rater] Simoni, Griffin, GA; son,  Scott W. (Teri) Simoni, Griffin, GA; grandson, Brandon Simoni, Pearisburg, VA; granddaughter, Brianna (Landon Neal) Simoni, Narrows, VA; step grandson, Chase Carden, Griffin, GA; grate grandson, Cypress Scott Neal, Narrows, VA; Brother, John (Judy) Simoni, Tinley Park, IL; a host nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Geno and Bernice [Suckow] Simoni, his son,  Kurt David Simoni, his sister, Louella Simoni.

Burial will take place at Denham Cemetery in Denham.
